Unplug: to disconnect, remove; disengage

With everything that is going on in the world right now, it is the perfect time to get unplugged! Not unplugged from life itself but from this tainted, corrupted version of reality. It’s time to plug into the only reality in which we were created to live: the reality of true life in the Kingdom of God! How does one do that with every obstacle glaring them in the face, making it hard to turn away? It’s simply done by what is the whole purpose of Surrendered Bride – we must surrender it all, more than ever before! There is simply nothing else to do unless you want to keep trying to change things on your own. By the way…that never works.

There is an increasing momentum in this world that clearly promotes us needing to turn to something higher and greater than any of us. I believe we should be locked in, mind made up, to follow God, and never look back – knowing that we are covered by our Creator who has promised to never leave nor forsake us. I believe that if we continue to do things our own way we will ultimately sink ourselves into a time wasted battle. Our Father, Jesus Christ is the only ammunition we need in this desperate and unearthing time in which we are.

There are things coming forth and about to be discovered that are going to shake up our “normal” as we know it. We will have to know the only Savoir who can save us! God’s Word in the Bible was left for us to follow – a guide for direction for us in these perilous times. It is what will set us in place with Him and will keep us free and covered under His peace and protection from all that comes our way.

No more of us, Lord, but all of You is what we so desperately need right now and some of us don’t even realize it.

It is my heart’s desire that You get the attention of Your people – your creation – so that they will know that without You we are nothing, but You are everything! Everything we need to make it through these trying and wicked times we are witnessing. You are our Redeemer and our Deliverer! You are the one that will keep us safe right in the midst of the most violent of storms because You love us so much and wish not for any of us to perish. It is my hope that we all choose to let go of our own agendas and look to You for everything that we need. It is my hope that Your unconditional, no fault-finding love grabs us all up by the heart and causes our rest in You to be sweet. Let us know that although there is much chaos and calamity taking place right now You are the only One that can call out for peace and everything will be still.
