Swift - Happening quickly or promptly. Prompt, rapid, sudden, immediate, instant, instantaneous

Justice - Just behavior or treatment. To give a person what he or she deserves. Fairness. Laws to ensure that no harm befalls another, and that where harm is done, action is taken.

My goodness! When I heard the title “Swift Justice” this morning, I immediately thought of the enemy coming against the sons and daughters of God – and how God is moving on our behalf. This is very true in this hour. The shaking that has already begun concerning this will be displayed, as God exposes it all. It really isn't the best place for anyone opposing God or His children to be right now, or ever. Amen? My heart cry is still that they find the Savior, get delivered, and be set free, in Jesus' name.

There is something so amazing that came forth as I looked up the definition for the word “justice.” I realized that there is a broad spectrum of definitions for that word. Meaning, that the initial mindset, at least for me, is “vindication.” And, to an extent, that is very true. But, there are also other ways to describe the word “justice,” such as fairness and equity.

Equity - fairness, value, worth.

It's distinguished from the word “equality” which means to provide the same to all. However, equity means realizing that we do not all start at the same place and must acknowledge and make adjustments to imbalances.

What comes to mind is that God is a just God. He gives His mercy to us for us to work on the imbalances that we each have in our lives, no matter where we are in our lives. We all get the opportunity to come up under and abide under His shadows. (Psalm 91:1)

“A God of faithfulness and without iniquity, just and upright is He.” -Deuteronomy 32:4
“Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne; steadfast love and faithfulness go before you.” -Psalm 89:14

What I find so breathtakingly beautiful about this is that because justice is the foundation of who He is, we get to choose which side of God's justice we're on. Amen? We get to choose this day who we will serve. Either way it goes, the justice of our King, our Creator, will be done in the earth, regarding each one of us.

We can be separated from Him, if we don't choose Him. We can fall to the system of His judgment that says in His Word; “Vengeance is mine says the Lord.” I will repay. We can also fall to the judgment of the scripture that reads, “Who are you? I never knew you. Depart from me!”

However, we can also encounter the fairness, the extreme value and worth of God's justice – the just behavior that we choose when we choose God and not the world. We get to have the assurance of the laws of protection put into place by our King that ensures no harm befalls us.

According to the word “equity” as described in the word “justice,” we can be assets to the Kingdom of God and not liabilities!

Join me in standing in the justice and authority of God's love and protection! This is the justice that will always swiftly move on our behalf, in Jesus name!
