LOW KEY

Growing up, I have heard the term, “low key” used before to describe an act or action by someone according to how they may be feeling inside or keeping emotions or behaviors tucked away within in order to appear a certain way in front of people. As I have gotten older, I have realized that is such a waste of time. If you think about it, who am I really fooling other than myself? I would have to be the only one I’m fooling because I certainly am not fooling God. Being one of those people, I realized I spent a lot of time around other people just like I was – people that did one thing to your face, but really felt something else in their hearts. No matter how big or small, low key is low key, period. To the heart of God, one sin is not greater or less than the other. God looks at it all the same.
For whoever keeps the whole law but fails in one point has become accountable for all of it. – James 2:10
So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin. – James 4:17
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. – Romans 6:23
The last verse is everything! What a loving God we serve that has always made a way of escape from what we carry in our hearts. We get do-overs guys! We actually get another chance to repent and surrender the old keys! It’s time to throw that old set of keys out because they don’t fit anymore. They belong to the old house which has been condemned! Our surrender to God has destroyed, demolished, and obliviated the old structure! (* I just found out that obliviate means to forget, to wipe from existence!)
It’s time to get our new set of keys! The Keys to the Kingdom that fit perfectly into the new house that we are allowing the Father to build! The new home where only He can dwell! Amen!
So let’s come together, each one of us representing a Key to the Kingdom of God to build the greatest house the world has ever seen! Let’s take over the land and increase the property value with the Spirit of the Living God and evict the enemy in Jesus' Name!
The heart and its intentions are what will always matter at the end of each day, and we should not let the enemy have any victory in having our hearts. Let’s just confess and surrender it so the Father can take it and throw it away – much like the old keys we are throwing out. It’s that simple. Low Key? How about NO KEY!
Love ya’ll
