Wow! It is hard to believe that we have come to the end of the first month of 2020! As the saying goes, it is truly amazing “how time flies.” Although this is just the first month of the new year, there have been so many things in the world that have already taken place – some that have caused us to rejoice and some that have caused us to be heartbroken and not understand why.
No matter what has taken place, I am still always encouraged to know that God is with us. God is for us, so who can be against us, right? I am so thankful to know that when things get hard our God is stronger than it all!
Father God,
It is my heart’s desire for each and every eye that reads this to be taken in by your invitation to come to you, to get to know you more. I am so thankful to be here for such a time as this. A time when things happen that we don’t understand. A time when we seem to keep falling, but we somehow get up. A time to know that whatever is going on in our lives, you see it all, and you’re not surprised. A time to believe, when everything seems as if it is stacked up against us. A time to know that you are God and that no weapon that is formed against us will be able to prosper. A time to know that when things look bleak, there is a celebration of rejoicing around the corner! A time to believe that although we may feel weak… YOU ARE STRONG! A time to forgive and let go of everything that has kept us bound in the past. A time to draw closer to you than we ever have before. A time to surrender all of ourselves to you! Help us to let go completely and freefall into your loving arms – for that is where we will find peace that surpasses all understanding and strength to endure! You, O God are all that we need. Let us know it as we step out in faith towards you! I thank you Abba that Your strength is made perfect in our weakness and if we hold onto you and never let go, ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE! It is my heart’s cry that we all are taken into a deeper place in you this year and that we will never be the same again! I thank you for this newness of life that we all will encounter this year as we choose to remain with you!
In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
HAPPY NEW LIFE!
