GAME OVER

Although we are at the end of the first month of this new year, the Father wants His children to know that the opposition from the enemy has come to an end. Even in writing this at the end of the month, it is a confirmation that the end has come. The hand of God is knocking off all the pieces in this game!

I see the chess board with the two sides – God's children on one side and the enemy on the other. The sons and daughters of God have been faithfully standing no matter what. The enemy, with limited access, has been sliding all over the board. The game hasn't been played fairly because we all know Satan is a cheater and a liar.

The surrendering ones have sat in position and conducted themselves upright in the position they were given by the Father. They have not been perfect, but upright in reverence of who God is, with a repentant heart, so they are able to start fresh over and over again by the mercy of God.

The sad part is that all the pieces on this board are not pure in heart, which makes them not properly suited for this game. And they have been coming against God's people and wreaking havoc! My heart is that they have more time to get it together and surrender all of their hurts, brokenness, and torments to God because they choose to and no longer want to live a life of destitution.

Destitution – lacks provision for one's self, exhausted, bankrupt, needy, impoverished.

Most would automatically think about not having enough money in reference to this definition, but the Father wants us to know that if you are void of Him, you are all these things and so much more!

The most devastating and unfortunate thing about this is that some are just not going to come to Him for their fresh start. They will choose to remain on that chess board as an enemy of God.

5 All this is evidence that God’s judgment is right, and as a result you will be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you are suffering. 6 God is just: He will pay back trouble to those who trouble you 7 and give relief to you who are troubled, and to us as well. This will happen when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven in blazing fire with his powerful angels. 8 He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. 9 They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might 10 on the day he comes to be glorified in his holy people and to be marveled at among all those who have believed. This includes you, because you believed our testimony to you. –2 Thessalonians 1:5-10 (emphasis on vs. 8)

Today the HAND OF GOD is coming down violently to knock every corrupt, slanderous, backbiting, evil, nasty, mocking, sorceress, diabolical, false, unloving, and unbelieving piece off the board in Jesus' name! GAME OVER!
