FIXER UPPER

Being a person who absolutely loves interior design, I fell in love with the show called “Fixer Upper” – along with many others. I have been this way since I was a little girl. My mom would come home at times, and it would be nothing for her to come home to a completely rearranged house! Ask anyone who knows me and they will tell you. Whether it's new or old, I will find a way to do something with it.

I'm speaking on this because, one day, the Father was showing me that we are “fixer uppers.” There is something that needs to be torn down in order for it to be built back up with the proper “specs” or specifications in order to house beautiful things – much like the show Fixer Upper. When they finish tearing down and rebuilding, the new house is filled with beautiful furniture, fabrics, etc.

We are in a season where the Father is building and restoring His people in order to carry or house the beauty of who He is! Those who are throwing out the old stuff through surrender will get to live in the house of God! The mountain of God will be the most exquisite piece in your home because it will be your Great Room! It will be the gathering place where you meet with the King everyday!

As the Father is breaking through the old structures in us and rebuilding, I would like to refer you to the best interior designer of them all! Although I think I am pretty good, this designer... I am learning from Him. He is my Teacher! The way He does it is like no other! His Majesty Jesus!!!! You don't have to go on a waiting list to get what you need. The Father is always fully stocked with whatever you need!

I encourage you today to surrender your remodel to the Father!There are 'specs' that can only come from Him that will make your new house the most beautiful house on the block!
