CONSEQUENCES or PROCEQUENCES?

Consequence - Things that can come in a sequence (order) as a result of something we do. It is a result of an action that we have done, thought, said or taken part of. It is often associated with doing or deciding something wrong or not in right standing with. We go against the grain or the flow of things when consequences come into our lives.
Process - Something you do in order (sequence) to achieve a certain result, a course of action. It is related to one moving forward in an orderly way. It means to shape, form, and improve; to transform.
What I find amazing is that when the word “consequence” is spoken of, it is associated with something negative, not good, or even bad. This definition has come from the world’s system (man-made); identifying this word as a result of an action done by us that is or was not good. This, to me, is a clear indication that we have a God that has created us, whom we should serve, and then there is a god of this world’s system (Satan) that has come as the divider of us all. That being said, the enemy (Satan), that is against God and all of us, clearly will always be the one to present what is wrong to us so we can have a life of consequences that can hinder us and keep us down, so we’re not able to fulfill our purpose for which God created us.
Notice I said, “consequences that CAN hinder us.” Meaning, although the not-so-good actions we take result in consequences that we do not want in our lives, I believe they can be changed into victory if we decide to get off the paths that lead to weights and turn to get on the path that leads to boundless freedom – the Path of Process!
Now, Process is something completely different. It is defined by the world’s system (man-made) as something positive and having a good end result.
I find it interesting that both of these words come from the world’s system (man-made) of definition and explanation, yet they can be considered so opposite of each other? I remember being shown that if we really pay attention to the things in this world we will always be able to find the divide between good and evil (GOD and our enemy). The obvious things like the media and the world chaos and devastations are in our face every day; but, I would like you to notice – the next time you are in a store – what is in there (merchandise, products) down to the smallest detail, and you will see good and evil. Satan is always working overtime to cause us to collapse in our thinking – what we listen to, what we wear, and the list goes on and on.
I am saying this because although there is evil in this world, GOD is everywhere and in everything! He is always speaking to us in everything, even in the dictionary that brings meaning to words that He allowed to be done, so we could make a choice about our decisions that affect our lives like His Living Word does. So, as we face consequences in our lives, I believe that even though they are a result of our doing, God can and will meet us in our consequences and offer us a way out of them.
“We all experience testing (processing) which is normal for every human being. But God will be faithful to you. He will screen and filter the severity, nature and timing of every test or trial you face so that you can bear it. And each test is an opportunity to trust Him more, for along with every trial God has provided for you a way of escape that will bring you out of it victoriously.” 1Corinthians 10:13
The beauty of surrender is gifted to us and if we choose to take it, we are led to the new path that leads us to our Father – the Path of Process!
To be processed by our Father is a journey that is taken by one who has decided to surrender. It is an undertaking of us being no more, so the new representation of, “as it is in Heaven, so shall it be in the earth,” is what the world will eventually see through us. Notice I said, “Eventually.” Please know that this does not happen overnight. Think about how long generationally alone it took us to be in the places we are in. We cannot possibly expect to go to bed one night and wake up the next morning this new, aligned creation, without some washing…some scrubbing going on!
The most detrimental thing as believers and lovers of God is when we want to rush and make everything happen and turn around quickly. Understandably, we have been through so many other devastations and consequences in our lives that we want it all gone quick so we can get to the Exquisite Elements of our Father. Not without the surrender, the sanctification, the filling that comes from the Kingdom will we ever truly see what that looks like or tastes like. We have to stop wanting more than we are supposed to have through the processing. We are to stay in place with God in order to hear what He really wants from us. What if He wants us to sit for one year and listen for His instruction and journal along the way and that’s it? Could we do that? “Would we do that?” is the question.
Whatever processing looks like for each one of us is totally different from someone else. We must not see it as a collective group. We are each in need of God in a different way. If we humble ourselves enough to listen for it, then we will not try to be like someone else and move too fast and miss the gift that has been custom made for us.
It is true, that if we truly accept the invitation of surrender and process, we will encounter the excitement and joy of the Father’s Heart and it will make us feel like there is nothing we cannot conquer! As we encounter the Father in this way, we need to make sure we keep a heart of thanksgiving for every moment of exchange we have with our Creator. As we feel empowered by the Father’s touch, we must always know that it all comes from Him and nothing of ourselves.
VISION: All of us kneeling before the Father with the gift that He just gave us wrapped in a beautiful box, and offering it right back to Him. There is always an exchange taking place between us and the Father. This is how His Power is released to us and through us because we always offer back to Him with the understanding that what He gives and allows is always for HIS GLORY! It is never about us!
“So it is necessary for Him to increase and for me to be diminished.” John 3:30
We must be very sensitive during this time and season as God is processing us. If not careful in offering back to Him, the enemy, who is always lurking around for an opening to get in, will deceive us to bring “self” in every time and before we know it; we can make all of what God is doing in our lives about us. Promotion before process always leads to perishing.
We never want to find ourselves on top of the mountain only to get pushed off by the enemy!
LET HIS GARMENTS OF GOODNESS BE YOUR GUIDE, HOLD ON!
